If you were planning to check out Fashioning the Intangible: the conceptual clothing of Ying Gao or To See & Be Seen: T-Shirts from the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives at the Textile Museum, this week is your last chance! Both exhibits close on Monday. Ying Gao just presented her spring/summer 2015 collection at the Festival Mode & Design Montreal. Her interactive, futuristic clothes are amazing! Just look at her (no)where (now)here dresses in action below. Want to go to the exhibit but trying to save some dough? Here’s a tip: the Toronto Public Library offers free passes to the Textile Museum and other Toronto attractions through the Museum + Arts Pass (MAP) program. Find a branch that offers a pass for your desired destination and check it out with your library card.

Also this week is Curated Style first-ever pop-up shop and social! To celebrate the launch of my blog, I will be hosting the event which will include drinks, free samples, second-hand clothing and accessories for sale, and more! Sorry kids; I wish I could invite everyone but this is a private event as it will be chez moi. But I will be posting pictures of the event and looking for public venues to hold future events, so stay tuned!
