Now would be a good time to clone yourself. World MasterCard Fashion Week is upon us and with it comes a gajillion (no joke) events. The big runways shows are happening in the tents at David Pecaut Square, next to Roy Thomson Hall. Unfortunately, most events are not accessible for us mere mortals but there are friendlier associated happenings, so keep your eyes out for those! If it’s all a bit overwhelming, save your energy and dollars for Fashion Saturday. These three hour sessions are designed for the general public and include a runway show, trend reports and a pop-up Canadian designer shop. Tickets are $50 (or $25 if you’re a student). For more WMCFW suggestions, BlogTO posted the appropriately titled How to do Toronto Fashion Week Without an Invite.

If you’re like me and prefer finding your sartorial gems away from the catwalk, may I suggest The Style Initiative’s Fall Pop Up. Featuring local designers such as Mandala Design, Monikova and Jennifer Fukushima, the pop up will be at 404 Adelaide St West until October 31st. And while you’re there checking out the fall goodies, give a high five to the Style Initiative for promoting Toronto-made brands!

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some cloning to do …
